Two years ago Republicans held more town halls than Democrats. In the first half of this year they held 39 in person — 17% of the town halls they held at all. One told MS NOW that a town hall is 'a good way to get shot.' Another said Democrats 'ruined' them. The one Republican who still shows up says it works fine.
