For years, Claudia Tenney and her party have been quietly laying the groundwork to gut these programs. Now they've said the quiet part out loud.

We all need to pay our fair share to the government so it can provide the services that benefit all of us.

But billionaires in the U.S. pay a smaller tax rate than most teachers and nurses. That's not fair.

We all deserve clean air, clean water, and a healthy planet to live on.

Claudia Tenney has supported the repealing and rolling back of environmental protections and climate change regulations, all so that billionaires and big business can plunder natural resources and destroy our environment in the name of profit.

She has a 0% score from the League of Conservation Voters in 2025, and a 3% lifetime score. She has publicly cast doubt on climate science, stating "The science is not determined. It's not certain."

I think we can all agree that nobody in America, the richest country in the world, should go hungry.

Claudia Tenney disagrees.

Nine out of ten American children — 49.6 million of them — go to a public school. It's where they learn to read, where they eat breakfast and lunch, where kids with disabilities are guaranteed an education by law, and where a kid from any family, rich or poor, religious or not, gets a fair shot.

Claudia Tenney and her party are taking that apart on purpose: draining public school money into private and religious schools, pushing one religion into everybody else's classrooms, and shutting down the federal department that is supposed to look out for our kids.

A good job where we can make a living to support our families, own a home, and have a good life. That's the American Dream.

Claudia Tenney supports policies and an administration that are turning the American Dream into a nightmare.

Our elected officials should work for us, the people.

Claudia Tenney works for big business and party leadership, not for us. She sits on the Ways and Means Committee, which writes the tax code for every industry in the country, and on the Intelligence Committee. Her largest backers are her own party's leadership PACs and the Koch network, not the voters of her district — only 17% of her money came from small grassroots donors. We all want a government that works for us as efficiently and effectively as possible. Unfortunately our government doesn't always work that way, so reform is badly needed. Given how big and complicated the government is, it's a tough problem that needs well-thought out solutions, so that we don't make things worse.

That's not what we got.

Claudia Tenney stood idly by while billionaire and ketamine-addled chaos monkey Elon Musk and his DOGE goons chainsawed their way through the U.S. government, promising to save the government at least $2 trillion annually in waste, fraud and abuse. Because they had no idea what they were doing and no one to stop them, in the end our government suffered, people suffered, New York suffered, government spending actually went UP and Elon Musk became even richer.

As a member of Congress, part of Claudia Tenney's job is to act as a check and balance to the executive branch. She and her fellow members of Congress from New York have completely abdicated their responsibility. These spineless cowards are rubber stamping everything Donald Trump wants to do, no matter how crazy, dangerous or harmful. And we've seen the results. We deserve better.

Jeffrey Epstein ran a global sex trafficking network that sexually abused dozens of girls and women for decades. The FBI identified at least 35 minors with similar abuse histories. When finally released in 2026, the files — over 3 million pages, 2,000 videos, and 180,000 images — revealed what UN human rights experts called "disturbing and credible evidence" of a possible global criminal enterprise. Those experts said some of the conduct may meet the threshold for crimes against humanity, including sexual slavery, torture, and enforced disappearance.

For months, House Republican leadership blocked every vote to release these files — and Claudia Tenney went along.

We deserve to feel safe in our neighborhoods, schools, and places of worship.

In order to do that, we need to take real steps to prevent gun violence. And despite what we've been told, it is possible to support the 2nd Amendment and support common-sense gun safety laws at the same time. But Claudia Tenney has opposed bipartisan gun safety laws, while offering meaningless thoughts and prayers every time there's a new mass shooting.

Claudia Tenney holds an A+ rating from the NRA and has spent her career working to expand gun rights. Two days after 59 people were killed in the 2017 Las Vegas massacre, Tenney — one of 161 Republican co-sponsors of a bill to roll back the 80-year-old law regulating the sale of gun silencers — told syracuse.com she still planned to vote for it, saying of mass shootings: "If somebody really wants to kill somebody, they'll do it." She is also an original co-sponsor of the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, which would force New York to honor concealed-carry permits issued by other states.

America is the land of FREEDOM. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to start a business, freedom to choose your own career path, freedom to make your own medical decisions, freedom to raise your children according to your values, and freedom to pursue happiness. Freedom is what makes America great.

Unless you're a woman and you're making the deeply personal decision about whether to have a baby or not. A decision that will dramatically affect the rest of your life. In that case Claudia Tenney thinks that your freedom doesn't matter and that the government should get to control your body. That's not freedom, that's tyranny.

Claudia Tenney has opposed legislation to make voting easier while supporting the SAVE Act, which would force every single American citizen to prove their citizenship status in person when registering to vote or updating their voter registration information. For the vast majority of Americans, this would mean presenting a passport or birth certificate at their local election office. This would disenfranchise millions of U.S. citizens: 146 million Americans do not have a passport, and 69 million women who have married do not have a birth certificate that matches their new legal name. Working-class and low-income Americans would also be disproportionately disenfranchised if the bill became law, as the vast majority of these groups do not possess a passport.

Whether white, black, or brown, we should all be able to live in America and exercise our constitutional rights without fear that law enforcement will turn on us.

But the current administration has created a secret police force that is abusing their power against anyone who stands in their way, U.S. citizen or not. They claim to be going after "the worst of the worst", but are taking daycare workers, day laborers, grandmas and kids who are valued members of our communities. And Claudia Tenney, staunch defender of the Second Amendment to fight back against government tyranny, is doing nothing while the government tyrannizes us.


Worse than nothing, actually. In April 2025 — while the Supreme Court was telling the administration it should facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man it had mistakenly deported — Tenney flew to El Salvador with the House Ways and Means delegation that visited CECOT, the prison where the administration was warehousing the people it deported. The delegation's chairman posted photographs of himself standing in front of caged detainees. Meanwhile, that very week, House Republican committee chairs were refusing Democrats' requests to make oversight visits to the same prison — one chairman called the request "absurd," another said it would "waste taxpayer dollars." A photo op for them; no oversight for anyone else.

War destroys human lives, families and innocent people, causes economic ruin, and triggers immense suffering. War should always be the option of last resort.

In order to distract from the Epstein Files, Donald Trump started an illegal war of choice with Iran, and now:

Good leaders meet with their constituents and have town halls where citizens can voice concerns, ask questions, and provide input on policies. Claudia Tenney doesn't want to hear what we have to say. She only wants to talk to her rich donors or people who agree with her.

She has been dodging her own constituents since the day she got to Congress. Back in 2017, during her first term, Tenney gave a different reason every week: first she wouldn't hold town halls because she didn't want a shouting match with "paid protestors," then she would hold one but only after the Capitol Police finished investigating threats, then she preferred meeting people one-on-one, and then a spokeswoman said maybe in the summer. Constituents eventually held a mock town hall with a Tenney impersonator after she used not one day of a two-week recess to meet with them.

Nine years later, nothing has changed. When constituents in Sackets Harbor organized a town hall and officially invited her, she did not even bother to show up — well over 200 people turned out to address an empty chair meant for her. When constituents in Oswego held another one — with a cardboard cutout standing in for her — Tenney dismissed the events as "fake" town halls and scolded "liberal media outlets" for even covering them, writing off the organizers as "far left activists traveling to our district to hold fake town halls." And in February 2026, four of the five candidates running for her seat showed up to a town hall in Oswego — Tenney was the only one who did not attend.

We deserve leaders who protect our freedom to speak. Claudia Tenney wrote and introduced H.R.9495, a bill that would let the Treasury Secretary strip any nonprofit of its tax-exempt status by accusing it of being a "terrorist-supporting organization" — without being required to disclose the evidence against it. The ACLU led a coalition of more than 180 organizations — including Planned Parenthood, the AFL-CIO, and the NAACP — warning that her bill would give the incoming administration new power to "muzzle, punish, and effectively shut down" nonprofits, universities, and even news outlets. It passed the House 219 to 184 in November 2024, but died in the Senate and never became law.

Claudia Tenney was not yet seated on January 6, 2021 — her own razor-thin race was still being counted. But once in office, she refused to defend our democracy:

We should hold our leaders to high standards. The same day Paul Pelosi — the husband of then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a colleague of her own — was attacked in his own home and left with a cracked skull, Claudia Tenney wrote "LOL" while boosting a heavily photoshopped right-wing meme showing men with hammers standing outside the alleged assailant's home. She left the post up for days, switched off her replies when people objected, and then quietly deleted it without explanation. We deserve better.
