Mike Collins works for big business and special interests, not for us. He co-founded a trucking company — and his top donors are in trucking, oil, and fossil fuels. Look at who some of his top funders are:

We all want a government that works for us as efficiently and effectively as possible. Unfortunately our government doesn't always work that way, so reform is badly needed. Given how big and complicated the government is, it's a tough problem that needs well-thought out solutions, so that we don't make things worse.

That's not what we got.

Mike Collins stood idly by while billionaire and ketamine-addled chaos monkey Elon Musk and his DOGE goons chainsawed their way through the U.S. government, promising to save the government at least $2 trillion annually in waste, fraud and abuse. Because they had no idea what they were doing and no one to stop them, in the end our government suffered, people suffered, Georgia suffered, government spending actually went UP and Elon Musk became even richer.

Elon Musk and DOGE:

Collins talked up DOGE's case while DOGE's own website listed five Georgia Social Security offices for lease termination — in Brunswick, Columbus, Gainesville, Thomasville, and Vidalia — alarming seniors across the state. On a Republican Study Committee podcast, he backed DOGE's argument for gutting federal agencies, claiming government buildings sit mostly empty.

As a member of Congress, part of Mike Collins's job is to act as a check and balance to the executive branch. He and his fellow members of Congress from Georgia have completely abdicated their responsibility. These spineless cowards are rubber stamping everything Donald Trump wants to do, no matter how crazy, dangerous or harmful. And we've seen the results. We deserve better.

We deserve to feel safe in our neighborhoods, schools, and places of worship.

In order to do that, we need to take real steps to prevent gun violence. And despite what we've been told, it is possible to support the 2nd Amendment and support common-sense gun safety laws at the same time. But Mike Collins has opposed bipartisan gun safety laws, while offering meaningless thoughts and prayers every time there's a new mass shooting.

America is the land of FREEDOM. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to start a business, freedom to choose your own career path, freedom to make your own medical decisions, freedom to raise your children according to your values, and freedom to pursue happiness. Freedom is what makes America great.

Unless you're a woman and you're making the deeply personal decision about whether to have a baby or not. A decision that will dramatically affect the rest of your life. In that case Mike Collins thinks that your freedom doesn't matter and that the government should get to control your body. That's not freedom, that's tyranny.

Mike Collins has opposed legislation to make voting easier while supporting the SAVE Act, which would force every single American citizen to prove their citizenship status in person when registering to vote or updating their voter registration information. For the vast majority of Americans, this would mean presenting a passport or birth certificate at their local election office. This would disenfranchise millions of U.S. citizens: 146 million Americans do not have a passport, and 69 million women who have married do not have a birth certificate that matches their new legal name. Working-class and low-income Americans would also be disproportionately disenfranchised if the bill became law, as the vast majority of these groups do not possess a passport.

Whether white, black, or brown, we should all be able to live in America and exercise our constitutional rights without fear that law enforcement will turn on us.

But the current administration has created a secret police force that is abusing their power against anyone who stands in their way, U.S. citizen or not. They claim to be going after "the worst of the worst", but are taking daycare workers, day laborers, grandmas and kids who are valued members of our communities. And Mike Collins, staunch defender of the Second Amendment to fight back against government tyranny, is doing absolutely nothing while the government tyrannizes us.

War destroys human lives, families and innocent people, causes economic ruin, and triggers immense suffering. War should always be the option of last resort.

Good leaders meet with their constituents and have town halls where citizens can voice concerns, ask questions, and provide input on policies. Mike Collins doesn't want to hear what we have to say. He only wants to talk to his rich donors or people who agree with him.

Mike Collins claims to hold quarterly town halls. But when constituents in the 10th District wanted to ask him hard questions about DOGE cuts and federal layoffs, more than 300 people showed up to a town hall in Athens — without him.

Collins was invited and didn't come. Constituents wrote their questions on cards to send to his office. His office responded that Collins has "hosted a town hall nearly every quarter" — pointing to an event held weeks earlier.

Georgians deserve a senator who shows up and answers to them directly — not one who hides behind a phone screen.

We should hold our leaders to high standards. Mike Collins apparently does not.

In 2020, Collins' trucking company received a $920,000 federal PPP loan — money meant to save workers' jobs during the pandemic. Then, within months, Collins loaned his own congressional campaign $465,000.

The federal government eventually forgave the loan entirely. Collins used his company's windfall to buy himself a seat in Congress.

We deserve leaders who put Georgians first — not ones who pocket government money and use it to fund their own political careers.

Mike Collins says noncitizen truckers are making America's roads unsafe. But a ProPublica and Atlanta Journal-Constitution investigation found that truckers for Collins' own companies have been involved in crashes that killed 5 people and injured more than 50 others over 25 years.

Collins' companies have a higher rate of unsafe driving and speeding violations than most trucking companies. And while his truckers were killing and injuring Georgia families, Collins fought proposed truck safety rules — like speed limiters and automatic emergency braking — that experts say would reduce serious crashes.

Collins warned about the danger of unsafe truckers while his own fleet was killing and injuring Georgia families.

We should hold our leaders to high standards. The people they hire tell us a lot about them.

Collins' longtime chief of staff, Brandon Phillips, had a criminal record going back to 2008 — attacking a man, slashing his tires, and pulling a gun on a woman. In 2022, Phillips was arrested for kicking a dog hard enough to lacerate its stomach.

Collins kept him on through all of it. The House Ethics Committee opened an investigation after finding that Phillips had used congressional funds for personal expenses and hired his own girlfriend as a no-show intern paid with taxpayer money.

Collins only fired Phillips after Phillips used Collins' campaign account to mock a political opponent's wife's alleged sexual assault.

Phillips' successor as chief of staff, Kip Talley, was later reported to have been in a group chat with white nationalists, where he said he would use his government position to help free an alt-right internet troll from prison.

We deserve a senator who surrounds himself with people of integrity — not one who enables abusers until it becomes politically embarrassing.

Mike Collins built his political career on Donald Trump's lie that the 2020 election was stolen — and he has spent years trying to rewrite the history of the violent attack it inspired.

We should hold our leaders to high standards. Mike Collins is known for inflammatory posts on social media — and several of them have targeted people for their religion or background.

In November 2025, Collins' campaign released a deepfake video of Senator Jon Ossoff — an AI-generated fake showing Ossoff mocking farmers and defending a government shutdown. Ossoff never said any of it.

When called out, the Collins campaign didn't apologize. It said it plans to keep using AI, promising to be "at the forefront embracing new tactics."

If a candidate has to put fake words in his opponent's mouth, what does that tell you about his real case?

While Georgians struggled with rising prices, Mike Collins was trading a joke cryptocurrency called "Ski Mask Dog."

Starting in December 2024, Collins reported a dozen trades in the meme coin — purchases worth up to $165,000. The coin hit its all-time high two days after he disclosed his first purchase, then crashed about 98%.

His explanation? "I liked the coins, so I bought them."
