Minutes after Josh Turek won Iowa's Democratic primary, Ashley Hinson launched an attack ad claiming he supports a 90% tax rate, amnesty for criminal illegals, and kids changing gender without parental consent. Turek has never supported any of it. Hinson even twisted his opposition to banning library books into a smear about gender-affirming care. As a former TV journalist, she knows what the truth is and spreads MAGA disinformation anyway.

KFF's brief, built on Congressional Budget Office estimates, put New York's losses at the same 860,000, within a range of 640,000 to 1.1 million. To change the subject, he then claimed a New York home-care program grew from $10 million to $11 billion in three years. It was already $1.3 billion in 2017.
