Power plants that burn coal, gas and oil put out about a quarter of all the climate pollution in the United States. Limits on that pollution were estimated to prevent 1,200 early deaths and 360,000 cases of asthma symptoms in a single year. Trump's EPA just scrapped them, and MAGA Republicans like Tom Cotton, Shelley Moore Capito, Lauren Boebert and Pete Ricketts cheered it on and begged the EPA to hurry up. They are putting the profits of corporate polluters over the lives of our children.
