Byron Donalds' campaign for Florida governor has taken in $131 million, two-thirds of it from donors writing checks of $10,000 or more. Seventeen of the 18 billionaires spending money on this race backed him, with more than $23 million — among them Jeff Yass, Ken Griffin and Betsy DeVos. Gambling giants, developers and ultra-wealthy donors from outside Florida are funding his entire run. He's running to represent the billionaires, not regular Florida families.
